October Not So Pink in 2018

It’s still October and that means it is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  I don’t normally have a quote for this month but I thought that maybe this month needs a little something extra this year.

“I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind.  Some come from ahead  and some come from behind.  But I’ve bought a BIG BAT.  I’m all ready you see.  Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me.”  –Dr. Seuss

This year I am extremely disappointed in the retail stores located in am around The Woodlands area.  I embarked on a pilgramage to find myself a new pink polo style shirt for Breast Cancer Awareness month.  You guessed it No one, pinked out this year.  None of the big box stores, none of the mid level stores, non of the sporting goods stores… no one.  It seems their was a reverse in direction and that pink was no longer the color for October.  Breast Cancer STILL needs awareness so maybe you’ll join me next October and wear your own pink polo shirt or lapel pin.  You have 11 months to shop.  I know in the mens department I might have to keep my search going all year long.  Here are the top 2 on my list:

 1) Pink Polo Style Athletic golf shirt (no logo on the front, no pocket, size Large mens)

2) Pink Lapel pin
